Bistro Henri, rue Princesses, has been our favorite small restaurant in Paris for over twenty years. It still is, and the place has gotten better if anything based on this week’s visit. What more can I say?
This restaurant needs to update or change its reservation system. Because we booked after 6 pm for the same night, they “could not see” the reservation, but I had received a confirmation from Uniiti. Thus, it was quite overbooked, and we were not the only parties waiting. Very hectic, as the restaurant was full. Service felt rushed.
The food was hearty and not “nouvelle,” and was tasty.
We had the most wonderful meal at this restaurant over the weekend. Atmosphere was cosy and uplifting. Food was authentic and delicious. Would highly recommend!
