Wonderful service.. great classics like beau blanquette.. veal in a cream wine sauce with rice.. everything is excellent and reasonably priced. Reserve!
What can I say I just came back from here and wow! Wanted to write the review whilst it was fresh in my mind.
I am from the UK and was recommended this restaurant and I can see why! It was easy to make a reservation on Google.
It is tiny, they literally have to pull the tables out so you can squeeze in but it is cosy and the atmosphere is homely and comforting. Great service quick & friendly but not rushed.
To start we had rocket & Parmesan salad & tomato and mozzarella salad. for mains 2 x boeuf bourgeon & crème brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert! + lots of complementary baguette. It was all amazing fresh good quality french comfort foods. (+ 2 beers and a bottle of still water = €102)
I would recommend to family and friends and hope to come back again in future.
This was our second visit to Bistrot de Henri. It was a lively pleasant dining experience. The boeuf bourginon was tasty but a bit chewy (great bourginon does not require a sharp knife). The same goes for the roasted chicken my wife ordered - a bit chewy. All in all a good meal - just not as amazing as the last time we dined there.
