We’ve dined at Henri probably more than two dozen times since the late 1990s, I think it was, and the place hasn’t lost a step. Tonight my wife and I visited again — she sat in her favorite place in the corner by the kitchen pass-through, had our longtime favorite dishes, and left completely happy. Cooking was as good as ever — maybe better! — service was great in tight quarters, and prices remain reasonable. We hope to be back one more time at least, even given our advanced ages….
Reservations are a must, and once you’ve had the full treatment you’ll know why. At the table next to yours, an inch or two away, you’ll likely meet someone from another part of the world. If our experiences are any indication you’ll leave extremely well-fed, and with some new friends —

I've been to this Bistro by chance with my boyfriend and it was such a good experience, crowded but it was apart of the charm. The food was well seasoned, simply and unpretentiously presented, and quintessentially French. We had three course our first night with a really nice glass of wine. Don't miss the Foie Gras!. However, the second time I came during the day with a friend for a nice slow lunch. Still such good wine, I order the beef bourguignon (again) and my friend order a veal with rice (the name escapes me) but they were amazing. Time slows down when I eat there, it sounds romantic, but its actually true. I can't rave enough about this place. I love the the menu isn't massive but there is so much still to try. I feel like if the restaurant is good, it doesn't need a million options. Oh, Don't forget dessert; the mousse was amazing!
Every time I come to Paris, this is the one place I think about the second I am off my flight. Highly recommend. Really nice service. A real Parisian Classic, not to be miss. Can't wait to come back and try even more of the menu.
Délicieuse cuisine, je recommande vivement toutes personne voulant faire l'expérience de la cuisine Française de réserver une table au Bistrot d'Henri. Ce restaurant est un régal absolu.
Το φαγητό ήταν νόστιμο αν και για bourguignon δεν είχε το απαιτούμενο βάθος σε νοστιμιά στον ουρανίσκο, μάλλον οφείλεται στο κρασί αυτό. Οι 2 βαθμοί αφαιρέθηκαν αποκλειστικά στο περιβάλλον και στην τοποθέτησή μου σε επιλογή συγκεκριμένων τραπεζιών ενώ υπήρχαν διαθέσιμα στην σάλα.
