We had been here twice before and loved it. This visit was not as good because they had changed the dish that brought us back there. The zucchini and bone marrow appetizers were good, but the ravioli dauphine was not as good as it was originally. When we first had it, my wife thought it was some of the best food she had ever eaten because it was perfectly cooked with a delicate yet rich flavor. They had changed the recipe to include a lot of herbs, so you could barely taste the excellent cheese flavor. It also seemed overcooked.
Un bistrot charmant. La cuisine est délicieuse, comme autrefois. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et l'ambiance très chaleureuse. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Merci beaucoup.
This was our third trip to Paris and fourth trip to Bistrot Henri. Fabulous door - the beef bourgenon was again our favorite.
Intimate seating and always busy.
This was exactly the type of place. My wife and I were looking for to get a true French experience. The bistro was small but intimate and warm. The servers were wonderful and made us feel like we were part of their family. The food was to die for the steak with green peppercorn sauce was amazing. The marrow was amazing that duck was amazing. We can’t speak more highly about this. It was so good that we have decided to spend our last evening in Paris going back to this place.
The food is consistently good and the prices are moderate. The host and hostess are busy but jovial and engaged. Nice spot a little off the beaten path.
I loved this place. It was a authentic small
French restaurant. The atmosphere and service were superb. The food amazing. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved what they had ordered. A wonderful experience!
